• August 2002
  • BIG Stationery began its journey as a retail store named UD Sinar Mandiri, located at Jl. Ngemplak No. 30, Ketabang, Genteng District, Surabaya, East Java 60272 (Ambengan Complex, Block A23 – 3 floors). The store offered both retail and wholesale office supplies such as invoices, receipts, paper, folders, and printer ribbons, which were sourced from Kembang Jepun and delivered using a single box truck.
• 2003
  • Started independent distribution operations with a small team of four employees, including an admin (Ms. Yuli) and a driver (Joko).
• 2004
  • Secured the first client, Fotoli Jombang, through direct sales conducted by the founder, who personally handled sales trips to Jombang, Madiun, Ponorogo, and Surabaya. The first client store in Surabaya was Sumber Ilmu.
    This year also marked the beginning of importing products under BIG’s own brand, including clear holders, pastel-colored erasers, and liquid correction pens.
• 2005
  • Sales distribution expanded throughout East Java, supported by the addition of new products such as folders and an increase in the sales team.
• 2006
  • Sales distribution extended beyond Java Island.
    BIG Stationery was officially registered as a trademark under HAKI (Intellectual Property Rights) on September 20, 2006, valid through September 20, 2026, in accordance with Article 18 of Law No. 15 of 2001 on Trademarks.
• 2007
  • Sales distribution reached the Semarang area. The company relocated to a larger office at Margomulyo Warehouse Complex, Block H 16–17, Surabaya, with a total of 20 employees.
• 2015
  • Opened a branch office in Semarang with five employees. This year also marked the start of in-house production, including items like box files and clipboards.
• 2017
  • UD Sinar Mandiri was officially transformed into a limited liability company under the name PT Mandiri Anugerah Bersama (BIG Stationery), with a workforce of 50 employees.
• 2019
  • Trademark registration for BIG good stationery was completed on October 3, 2019.
• 2023
  • Trademark registration for BIG good product was completed on September 24, 2023, valid through September 24, 2033.
• 2025
  • Trademark registration for BIG happymoodcheck was completed on February 7, 2025.
